Companies that have accepted the mission
"We had the experience of Escape MSP as a corporate outing. Everybody had a fantastic time and everybody was able to contribute. It is hard finding things to do that can appeal to everybody in a group of 6-10 people but I heard nothing but positive feedback from all 9 of the people that were in the room with me. Excellent experience and I look forward to going back and experiencing the second room."
"What fun! Three days later and it's still all we can talk about! We were a group of 6 and got matched up with another group of 4. I don't think we could have done it without each other so it was perfect. Everyone contributed something. With about a minute left we had pretty much accepted the fact that we weren't going to complete the mission, and were congratulating each other about all that we did accomplish, when one more puzzle was solved and we opened the door with 7 seconds left. What a rush! It was a blast and can't wait to go back."
"I took my brother here for his birthday earlier tonight. We had so much fun working together and thinking through the puzzles. Being handcuffed was a first time experience for both of us, but definitely added to the intensity of the puzzle!
"I went with a group of interns as a team bonding activity and we had an absolute blast! We did the "James Bomb" option and I was impressed at the complexity of clues and puzzles we found (and solved!) during our hour in that room. It was definitely worth the money, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!"
"My husband and I were looking for something different to do during our weekend getaway. It was nice that there were many time slots available so we could adjust our schedule as necessary. It wasn't anything like we had done before and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. We would consider doing the other cases for any other times we are in the MSP area."
"My consulting team went out for a team-building exercise. We were a party of 12 tech guys, each of us problem solvers. The group had a blast trying to solve each problem, and there were plenty of laughs throughout. We would definitely go on another mission!"
Can I schedule a time outside of the set mission times?
Yes. Contact us for availability. The room would be booked for 10 participants regardless of the actual number wanting to attend.
Am I really locked in the room?
Yes. But don't worry, our lawyer required us to put a panic button in the room in case something goes horribly wrong, but you'll feel much more accomplished if you solve the puzzle to get out.
Do I have to have a group of 10 to participate?
No. Get one or just a few and you'll be teamed up with other people in the same mission.
What should I bring with me?
Your friends and your thinking cap. No personal items are allowed in the room including purses and phones but we provide you with a secured locker for storage when you arrive.
What mission should I choose?
If this is your first experience at Escape, we recommend Mr. Dupree's Office. The James Bomb mission is a lot of fun, but it is more intense and you will be handcuffed. You need to be ok with this.
When should I arrive and how long does it take?
The entire experience takes about 90 minutes. Show up 15 minutes prior to your scheduled mission time for your mission briefing. The door locks at your set mission time and does not open until you ESCAPE or the 60 minutes is up. There will be a 10 minute debriefing and photo op after the mission.
For the The Secret of Skully's Cabin, the mission is 45 minutes so allow 1 and 1/4 hours for the entire experience.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, 10 & older. To get the most out of the experience, we only allow the missions for ages 10 & up. For Dr K's mission those in the 14-16 year range might find the math puzzles too difficult but we leave that up to the parent's discretion. However, we require an adult accompaniment for ages 15 and under. All participants must complete a waiver, anyone under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver. Fill out your waiver before you arrive at https://escaperoommaster.com/waivers/sign/f34a40c6-45da-4391-b76b-02f0897fb10b
